Technical Information

AFS design and install ventilation systems of all sizes from local single room extractors for spot cooling to full factory ventilation systems for plastics manufacture.

The systems are designed to provide either full area ventilation or “microclimates” in larger rooms.

This involves a full site survey to determine where the majority of the operators are located and also the position of the major heat sources. We can then provide ventilation where it is needed and ensure the airflow within the area does not draw hot air into the working zones.

AFS specialises in the design and installation of systems to provide compliance with the latest COSHH and EPA regulations laid down by the HSE

Our turnkey service includes the design and installation of dust and fume control systems, automated waste handling systems, industrial heating and ventilation.

Our control division undertake integration of the systems with gas detection plant as well as robot and other manipulation equipment to ensure compliance with CE.

This is complimented by our own service department to keep your system running at its most efficient.

AFS Service Division

AFS utilise modern, fully equipped vehicles to carry out on site service and maintenance of dust and fume, ventilation and waste handling systems.

It is essential that plant is maintained by a competent contractor to ensure compliance with COSHH-control of substances hazardous to health. In addition regular planned maintenance reduces system downtime and maximises productivity.
