A dust extraction system is regarded as Personal Protective Equipment and it is a requirement of the COSHH regulations that such equipment is tested on a regular basis. The AFS Service Department offer a tiered level of service based on a set number of visits per year providing a full report on each visit. These contracts can be established on an annual basis thus removing the burden of scheduling from engineering staff and are major part of achieving compliance with the COSHH regulations.

These Test and Inspections act as both a preventative maintenance schedule and a method of achieving compliance with the COSHH regulations.
